That's right theatre fans. One of Broadway's most popular shows of the past two decades is making a comeback. Hairspray, which won seven 2003 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year, is set to embark on a National tour beginning on November 10, in where else but Baltimore.Which by the way in case you didn't know is where this awesome musical takes place. Following it's initial run thru November 15, it will then go on to play over sixty cities thru out North America.
It was also announced that the shows original Tony Award winning creative team Jack O'Brien (Director), and Jerry Mitchell (Choreographer) will reunite for the tour as well. As of now no casting or venues have been announced. Be sure to check this website for further updates.
