I can’t believe the year is almost over. Where has the time gone? I started the year out by seeing Spring Awakening for the fourth time and now as the year comes to a close I am trying to figure out what show to see to round out 2007. Maybe Rent? Yes I love the show but that would be number twenty-four for me. How about Phantom of the Opera? I haven’t seen it since 1993. I enjoyed it back then so maybe it’s time to see how this Broadway institution is holding up. Excluding a dinner theatre production of A Chorus Line in high school I have never seen the show on Broadway. That is an option too. Who says I have to see a musical? For the first time in years Broadway is alive with some of the best new plays as well as revivals of some of theatres greatest dramas. See that’s what is so great about the theatre. So many choices. Which one will you choose? Me. I don’t know yet. But no matter what I can always count on the theatre to give me a night that I will never forget.
