The Phantom Of The Opera To Celebrate Anniversary

Can you believe it's been almost 23 years since The Phantom of The Opera first opened on Broadway? I sure can't. Yet here we are in 2011 and it still remains one of the most popular shows on the Great White Way. I like many first became familiar with the show when the cast recording came out in 1988 and one immediately hooked. Now I didn't actually see the show until almost five years later. I will admit that even though I was excited about finally seeing it I was a little worried that it might not live up to my high expectations. Well once again I was wrong. Now while it is not my favorite show of all time it does have it's place. It wouldn't have lasted as long as it did if it didn't. It is one of Broadway's most romantic shows after all. Get your tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera. Broadway's longest running show.
