Oh come on now. You knew it was bound to happen eventually right? I mean who doesn't want to sit in a crowded theatre on a Thursday afternoon with a bunch of total strangers? Sounds like fun to me. Beginning on April 3 three of Broadway's most popular shows will now be playing at 2pm. Care to guess which ones? Well don't worry. I won't hold you in suspense. They are Cinderella, Mamma Mia and The Phantom of the Opera. Now I don't know about you but I think another weekday matinee is a great idea. I can't tell you how many people over the years have called asking if there were any afternoon shows during the week besides Wednesdays. Well good things come to those who wait because now there are. Who knows if sales go well then maybe more shows will follow suit. We shall see. Until next time theatre fans.
