Last week I wrote a blog about seeing Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Broadway. I loved it. I mean how could you not with great music like that? Featuring over twenty-three hit songs including "Will You Love Me Tomorrow, "You've Got A Friend", "So Far Away", and of course the title song, Beautiful is one show you don't want to miss my friends. Now as much as I loved the show, I wondered how it would sell in London. After all some shows that are hits there, often fail to achieve success on Broadway, and vice versa. As it turns out, I was all worried for nothing, because the critic's loved it. Now just in case you don't believe me, check out a few of these reviews and tell me I'm not right.

Pretty good reviews don't you think? Now I realize that most people going in know the songs. That's probably why they're going to see it right? Well what about those of you who still aren't sure and want a little more information about the show? Well you are in luck because I just happen to have a little synopsis about it. So here you go. Enjoy!
Long before she was Carole King, chart-topping music legend, she was Carol Klein, Brooklyn girl with passion and chutzpah. She fought her way into the record business as a teenager and, by the time she reached her twenties, had the husband of her dreams and a flourishing career writing hits for the biggest acts in rock 'n' roll. But it wasn't until her personal life began to crack that she finally managed to find her true voice.
Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of King's remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
Well I'm sold. Of course I can say that because I've seen it. Now it's your turn to see this amazing show. Heading over to London in the near future and want tickets to see Beautiful? Well guess what theatre fans? We sell it. In fact we sell every play and musical in the West End. So what are you waiting for people? Get your tickets to see Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in London at the Aldwych Theatre. You will love it. Until next time theatre fans.
