That's right theatre fans. One of Broadway's most beloved musicals of all time is coming home. Fiddler On The Roof, which first premiered on the Great White Way in 1964, is set to begin previews at the Broadway Theatre on November 12. Opening night is scheduled for December 17. This new production, which is being directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher (The King and I), will star five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein (Cabaret, South Pacific). Now I'll admit when the show was first announced I was a little surprised. After all the last revival was back in 2004. Don't get me wrong. I love the show. In fact it is one of my all time favorites. I just wasn't sure if Broadway was ready for another production of this classic musical. Hopefully I am wrong, because Fiddler on the Roof is one fantastic show that deserves to be seen. Here's hoping it's a hit. Tickets for the show are now on sale. Not only that but we sell it.
