Emmy Award winner Darren Criss, who was last seen on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, is set to star in David Mamet's American Buffalo. The show, which also stars Tony Award winner Laurence Fishburn and Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell, will begin previews at the Circle in the Theatre on March 24, 2020, with opening night scheduled for April 14.

Set over the period of one day at a run down junk shop in Chicago, American Buffalo, tells the story of Donny (Laurence Fishburn), the owner of the junk shop, who has recently sold a buffalo nickle to a customer for ninety dollars. Of course the only problem is that the coin might be worth a lot more. So what does he do?
