That's right theatre fans. The reviews are in. Last night, The Great Society, also known as the sequel to the Tony Award winning All The Way, officially opened at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. The show, which stars Olivier and Emmy Award winner Brian Cox as LBJ, takes place following the election of 1964, amid the Vietnam War as well as the Civil Rights Movement.
Starring along side Mr. Cox is Tony Award nominee Marc Kudish as Richard J.
Daley, Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas as Hubert Humphrey, and Grantham
