Bare The Musical Tickets On Sale Through April 28, 2013

Once in a while, a musical comes along that really gets to the heart of major issues confronting young people today.  That musical is an Off Broadway show called Bare The Musical.  This show got its start more than 10 years ago out in Los Angeles.  It has played around the world and has now settled into the New World Stages Theatre in New York City.

Bare The Musical is a contemporary rock musical that tells the story of a group of teenagers that are dealing with the often difficult issues of sexuality, identity and religion as they attend a Catholic boarding school.  In particular, the story delves into how these young people decide on telling exactly how they feel about these issues or whether to hide their thoughts and feelings from the people that matter most to them.

Bare The Musical has a huge fan base around the world and has played over a hundred productions to date.  The creative team consists of Damon Intrabartolo who wrote the Music and Jon Hartmere who wrote the Book and Lyrics with musical supervision and additional songs by Lynne Shankel and Jon Hartmere.

Bare The Musical has a great cast of very talented Broadway and Off Broadway regulars that include Jason Hite, Taylor Trensch, Elizabeth Judd, Gerard Canonico, Barrett Wilbert Weed, Jerold E. Solomon, Missi Pyle, Anthony Festa (Off Broadway debut), Casey Garvin, Ariana Groover (Off Broadway debut), Sara Kapner, Alice Lee, Megan Lewis, Justin Gregory Lopez (Off Broadway debut) , Michael Tacconi and Alex Wyse.
