Family Shows On Broadway

AladdinPlanning on coming to New York in the next few months? Well of course you are going to see a show or two while you are here right? The only question you have to ask, is what to see. Now let's also say that you are bringing the whole family. What shows are appropriate? Well to be honest, there aren't as many as you would think. In fact, out of twenty-seven shows currently playing on Broadway, I would say eight of those are ones that the entire family can enjoy. They are Aladdin, Finding Neverland, The King and I, Les Miserables, The Lion King, Matilda,The Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked. Oh and don't forget Off-Broadway shows like The Blue Man Group and Stomp. I guess that's ten shows that are good for all ages. So which ones do you see? Why not see all of them. Just kidding. I mean I love the theatre, but even I couldn't sit thru that many shows in such a small period of time.

Finding NeverlandBesides you need a little time to shop, and of course see the Statue of Liberty right? Now I'm sure most of you have already seen a lot of these shows. After all, both The Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera have been playing for a number of years. I myself have seen them all. However if I had to choose the perfect one for you to see, I would put Finding Neverland at the top of that list. It has everything. Great story, beautiful music, and a cast that will break your heart, as well as make you smile from ear to ear. How many shows do you know that do that? Not too many my friends. Also most of those shows I mentioned are available at "Insider Prices". Who doesn't love a bargain? I know I sure so. So there you have it folks. Ten great shows that the whole family can enjoy. Which ones will you choose? Until next time theatre fans.
