A new Broadway revival of one of Broadway's most popular shows of all time, and it is being headlined by Broadway favorite, and five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein? That's enough for me. Fiddler on the Roof, which first premiered on Broadway in 1964, is set to return to the Great White Way later this year in a new production directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific, The King and I). Previews for Fiddler on the Roof are set to begin at the Broadway Theatre on November 12, with opening night scheduled for December 17. Now I first became familiar with this beloved musical when I starred in a local community theatre production of the show. Since that time it has remained a personal favorite of mine.
By the way, for those of you who want tickets to see this beloved musical you are in luck. We sell it. In fact tickets are now on sale. Yes I know the show is still months away, but there is nothing wrong with planning ahead. Get your tickets to see Fiddler on the Roof at the Broadway Theatre. I can't wait to see it. How about you?
