Off-Broadway Is Alive And Well In New York City

Blue Man4 (SP) 2009 Brazil.JPGComing to New York in the near future and want to see a show? Well of course you do. Now the only question you have to ask yourself is what to see. Oh sure I guess you could see Wicked or The Lion King. Both great shows. But how about checking out something a little off the beaten path?

That's right. I am talking about Off-Broadway. You've heard of that right? Believe it or not, but one of the first successful Off-Broadway shows was the 1954 revival of the Brecht/Weill Threepenny Opera. Since that time Off-Broadway has been home to some of the most innovative, and original productions of all time. Not only that, but some of the Great White Way's most successful productions of the last few decades first premiered on the Off-Broadway stage.

StompAvenue QSome of those include A Chorus Line, Spring Awakening, Avenue Q, Grey Gardens, In The Heights, Rent, and last year's Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival of the Year, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. That's a pretty impressive list don't you think? Currently there are over fifty shows playing Off-Broadway. Not only that but we sell tickets to all of these shows.

Want tickets to see such classics like Blue Man Group or Stomp? No problem. How about laugh out loud musical comedies like Avenue Q or Clinton The Musical? You want them. We got them. Plus we offer "Insider Prices" for most of them as well. Who doesn't love a bargain? I know I do. Just give us a call and we will take care of the rest. It's that easy. Applause and Off-Broadway. A winning combination. Until next time theatre fans.
