On June 11, 2017 the 71st Annual Tony Awards show will take place at Radio CIty Music Hall in New York City. The awards ceremony returns to its usual home after playing at The Beacon Theatre in 2016.In order for Broadway Shows to be eligible for this season's 2016-2017 Tony Award Nominations, Broadway show productions need to have officially opened to critic's reviews on or before April 27, 2017. Then on May 2, 2017, the official Tony Award Nominations will be announced at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts in Lincoln Center.
The 71st Tony Awards show will be telecast live on Sunday June 11, 2017 from 8-11pm Eastern time on CBS.
