This month on Broadway, there are so many talented and award winning actresses performing some great roles. Here are a few of my favorites.
Patti Lupone and Christine Ebersole star in War Paint, the story about two of the most infamous beauty icons, Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden at the Nederlander Theatre.
Glenn Close takes on this iconic role, as Norma Desmond, in Sunset Boulevard, a revival by Andrew Lloyd Webber – Now through June 25, 2017 at the Palace Theatre.
Bette Milder – Hello Dolly!. Need I say more? In previews now, and opens April 20, 2017 at the Shubert Theatre.
Sara Barielles will perform her own music and star in Waitress from March 31 through June 11, 2017 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon star in Lillian Hellman's family drama,
The Little Foxes What’s so awesome about their performances? – They will alternate playing the roles of Regina Hubbard Giddens and Birdie Hubbard. Previews March 29, opens April 19, 2017 and plays through June 18, 2017 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
Sally Field, is now staring in the Tennessee Williams classic - The Glass Menagerie at the Belasco Theatre.
Cate Blanchett stars in The Present, a new Chekhov production at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
Allison Janney will star in Six Degrees of Separation at the Barrymore Theatre -Previews April 5 and opens April 25, 2017.
