Mrs. Doubtfire On Broadway

Mrs. DoubtfireNow believe it or not, but I have never seen the movie. Which is strange considering how much I love Robin Williams. Oh well. Maybe I'll finally have to check it out now that they have turned it into a big Broadway musical. Previews for Mrs. Doubtfire, which began previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on March 9, will officially open on April 5.

Based on the 1993 film of the same name, the show had it's world premier last year at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, where it played from November 26 thru December 14. Directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, and choreographed by Lorin Lattaro, Mrs. Doubtfire will feature a score by Tony Award nominees Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick (Something Rotten), and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell.

Starring in the title role is Tony Award nominee Rob McClure (Beetlejuice, Honeymoon In Vegas). Joining him are Jenn Gambatese as Miranda Hillard, Tony Award nominee Brad Oscar as Frank Hillard, Analise Scarpaci as Lydia Hillard, Jake Ryan Flynn as Christopher Hillard, Avery Sellas as Natalie Hillard, J. Harrison Ghee as Andre, Mark Evans as Stuart Dunmeyer, Charity Angel Dawson as Wanda Sellner, and Peter Bartlett as Mr. Jolly.

By the way, for those of you who want tickets to see the show, you have come to the right place, we sell it.Plus if you call right now, you can get tickets to see Mrs. Doubtfire at prices that can't be beat.
