Get Tickets To See Grease On Broadway Thru Applause Theatre Service

Well here we are over 35 years later and Grease is still the word. On Broadway that is. Following the highly rated reality show "You're The One That I Want" on NBC last year, Grease opened on Broadway last summer to the glee of fans and baby boomers alike. Since I wasn't alive when the show first opened on Broadway my first experince like most was seeing the movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. To this day it remains a classic not to mention the highest grossing movie musical in history. Now since the most recent revival only closed less than ten years ago I questioned whether it was too soon for another one. In this day and age when all we hear about is war and all the problems in the world it's nice to have shows like Grease that help us forget and put a smile on our face. Isn't that what theatre is all about? I think so. So forget about what the critics say and take a trip back to the 1950's with the gang at Rydell High.
