The Ogre is coming to Broadway! Applause Theatre Service is taking orders now to see "Shrek: The Musical"

DREAMWORKS lifted the curtain - just a tad - the other night on "Shrek: The Musical," http://www.applause-tickets.com/shrek.asp set to open on Broadway in October after an August tryout in Seattle. DreamWorks, it seems, is having trouble finding actors who can fill the shoes of Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy, both of whom were crucial to the success of the "Shrek" franchise.
"It's a question of chemistry," says a source. "It's hard to find the perfect pair."
The usual suspects have auditioned for "Shrek" - which is to say Broadway actors of some girth: Dan Fogler ("Spelling Bee"); Kevin Chamberlain ("Seussical"); Shuler Hensley (already green in "Young Frankenstein"). Fiona will be played by Sutton Foster(Modern Millie, Little Women), who's leaving "Young Frankenstein" http://www.applause-tickets.com/young-frankenstein.asp in July. But whomever they get to fill those big shoes, this is certain to be the big holiday hit this year. Tickets will go like hotcakes! Be sure to place your order now for tickets. Call an Applause Theatre Service, http://www.applause-tickets.com/ ticket expert who will take a pre-order on tickets and fill it with the best available seats when our tickets come in. 212-307-7050 or 800-451-9930.
