I have to tell you guys that I've been invited to quite a few press and group sales presentations of many new musicals coming to Broadway over the years, but this sneak peek at Billy Elliot-The Musical, which I went to see the other day, was just a first rate/first class, slick presentation! It got me so pumped up to see the show and wanting to see more. Even Sir Elton John himself was there to introduce the 3 new Billy's just cast for the Broadway production, talented triple-threats David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish.

Elton sang one of the songs, "Electricity" that segued to the 3 boys singing (pictured to the right with Elton John) which turned into a dance number that brought the house down! These are some really talented young kids!

With free champagne flowing and free giveaways of the DVD's and CD's, these people know how to grab you! It made me feel as if this is going to be one of the biggest musical hits to come along in a very long while. That's how it's supposed to make you feel and in most cases they don't end up becoming that "Hit". But this is a proven show that continues to sell out in London and other productions throughout the world, which doesn't necessarily mean it will be a hit here, as past history has shown us! However, I have a gut feeling that this is the real thing, a show that has it all. A great score that London critics compared to the classic musical "Oliver", and has a story line that tugs at your heart strings and has you rooting for the underdogs! Not to mention the incredible dancing!
