New Musical Featuring Tony Award Winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia

Wilson Jermaine Heredia, who won a Tony Award for his performance as Angel in the original cast of Broadway's Rent, will be part of a reading of the new musical Avarice.

The April 17 and 18 readings will be held at the Snapple Theatre in Manhattan. Show time each night is 6:30 PM.

Directed by Suzanne Rydz with musical direction by Molly Gachignard, the cast will also feature J. William Bruce, Sarah Rolleston, Rachel Rincione and Gregory Treco.

Avarice features book and lyrics by J. William Bruce and music by Bruce and David A. Shenton. The musical, according to press notes, "begins as the group of friends struggle with adulthood and their impending future. Over the course of nine months they soon discover that the bond that was formed at eighteen may not be enough to overcome the obstacles they are about to face. Throughout their journey they begin to question many things about not only life but themselves as well."

The Snapple Theatre is located in Manhattan at 210 West 50th, 4th floor. For reservations call (212) 875-7693
