Get Tickets To See Laurence Fishburn In Thurgood Thru Applause Theatre Service

Tony Award Winner and Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne returns this month to Broadway in Thurgood, a one man show based on the life and momentous times of Thurgood Marshall. I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Fishburne make his Broadway debut 16 years ago in August Wilson's Two Trains Running. And even then you could see had he had theatre chops to succeed. We all know the story of Thurgood Marshall. A descendent of slaves who was a pioneering civil rights attorney, successfully arguing Brown v. Board of Education before the Supreme Court, who then became a member of that exclusive body and making history as the first African-American to serve.

I had the chance to see the show last night and I throughly enjoyed it. Plus at a running time of 90 minutes you'll be home and in bed by 10pm. How can you beat that? The show is only running thru August 2nd so don't delay or you will miss out on one of the great performances of the season.
