OUTER CRITICS CIRCLE NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

Nominations for the 58th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards were announced April 21 at the Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan. The new Mel Brooks musical Young Frankenstein leads the nominations with ten, the most of any show this season. The Outer Critics Circle Awards are decided upon by a group of writers "covering New York theatre for out-of town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway." Other big winners were Les Liaisons Dangereuses and South Pacific.
