Have You Seen The Lion King in New York City?

The Lion King has been playing to many sold out audiences in New York City and around the world for over 11 years now. The winner of six Tony Awards in 1998, The Lion King tells the classic story of the young royal Simba and the tribe of the wonderful African Pride Lands brought to life on the beautiful New Amsterdam Theater stage.

The Lion King is based on the original film and stars Kissy Simmons as Nala and Dashaun Young as Simba. The music is by Sir Elton John with lyrics by Tim Rice. The book is by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi with costume design and direction by the great Julie Taymor.
