Broadway's Longest Running Revival Is Chicago

It's hard to believe it's been almost 13 years since Chicago made it's triumphant return to Broadway. The show first opened in 1975 but was overshadowed by A Chorus Line who went on to sweep the Tony Awards that year and became one of Broadway's most loved and long running shows. This production first began at the Encore! Series at City Center in the Spring of 1996. The show received rave reviews and soon plans were made to move the show to Broadway. Since that time the show has played in over thirty different countries and been translated into Japanese. The show also has the distinction of playing at three different theatres during it's Broadway run. Not too shabby. Call Applause now to get your tickets to see Chicago The Musical on Broadway. Good seats are now available.
