That's right theatre fans. In less then 30 days The Little Mermaid will be no more. The show which opened on Broadway in November 2007 will play it's final performance at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on August 30. When it closes it will have played 685 performances and 50 previews. Those of you who have read my blogs know I am not the biggest Disney fan in the world. However I found the show to be very charming and entertaining. It's a shame that the show will not have a longer life as it is a great show not only for kids but for the whole family. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend you do so before it is too late.
