Now I'm really sad. Yes I know that I've know for a couple of months now that Avenue Q is closing but it still hurts. The show which lasted a lot longer than anyone ever thought it would will conclude it's six year run on Sunday September 13. Avenue Q which beat Wicked for the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical is one of my favorite shows and I am so proud that a little show about puppets found success on the Great White Way. There will never be anything like it and I hope that eventually it will find it's way back to Broadway again in the future. There are only 23 performances left so don't delay. Get your tickets to see Avenue Q on Broadway. It is the only show that offers full frontal puppet nudity after all.
