Kelli O'Hara Plays Her Final Performance in The King and I on April 17, 2016

This is just a quick note to Applause Ticket News readers to inform you that Broadway superstar Kelli O'Hara will be playing in her final performance, in her role as Anna Leonowens at Lincoln Center Theatre's hit show The King and I on Sunday April 17, 2016.

Ms. O'Hara has been a Broadway star for many years and has been nominated for 6 Tony Awards in her career.  She won her first Tony Award for Best Actress in the Musical Revival of this show in 2015.  She's a really talented actress in every way and I feel sure she will garner other awards in the years ahead.

I recently read an article where Ms. O'Hara was interviewed by one of the leading sources for "what's happening" on Broadway and have come to learn that she's leaving The King and I as she misses her young kids very much and has a desire to move on to perform other roles in the theatre.  She also said she'll miss the incredible cast of The King and I.  And they truly are an incredible cast indeed.

I personally had the chance to see this show several months ago at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater and can tell you that it is one of the most beautifully staged shows I have ever seen in my nearly 60 years.  And fortunately for me, being a licensed ticket broker at Applause-Tickets.com (License # 71AP 1001029), I get to see almost every Broadway show that plays in New York City.

Call us if we can assist you in obtaining tickets for Broadway's The King and I.  We'd love to help.

Cheers
