The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-TIme Closing September 4, 2016

The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time will be playing its final Broadway performance on September 4, 2016.  The show will have played 23 previews and 800 regular performances which for a non-musical is a really long time on Broadway.  And when you consider that the show has never had a "star" in this show, it has been one of the most successful plays ever in the history of Broadway.

The show tells the unique story of a 15 year old by the name of Christopher Boone,  Christopher is an incredible whiz at math but can't handle the everyday stresses of daily life particularly well.  He lives with his divorced dad outside of London and has been accused of killing his neighbors dog.  He then sets out to investigate the crime to prove his innocence.  As he does his research and uncovers some things that will help him prove what happened, he will then need to travel into London leaving his small hometown and his most trusted advisor in life- his teacher.

For a play (non-musical) I would have to say that The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time was incredibly fast paced and exciting, more so than any play I can recall over the years.  It's a story of adventure and how determined a young person can be to find out exactly what happened to the dog he cared so much about.  His efforts were nothing short of heroic to say the least.

The show won 5 Tony Awards in 2015 including the Best Play honor and is still playing in London where it was originated by the National Theatre.  Right now if you call Applause-Tickets at 212-307-7050 or 800-451-9930 we can get you fantastic The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time tickets at reduced pricing.
