The people in my office like to give me a hard time about my obsession with In The Heights. Now I think obsession is a strong word. Yes I admit I love the show and listen to the show two or three times a week but I am not obsessed. Truth is I haven't seen the show in a long time. Not that I haven't tried but when you work as much as me it's hard to find the time. Plus I think it's more important to have a roof over your head than see a show every week like some people do. Now I don't mean to knock those people.Look if you can afford to see the same show week after week than more power to you. I just don't have that kind of money. I use whatever money I have left over every month to pursue my own show. I think that is why I love In The Heights so much. It is about people with a dream. People who no matter what the odds do not give up until they achieve those dreams. That is what Broadway does. Makes you believe that anything and everything is possible. That is In The Heights. Go see it. Until next time theatre fans.
