In The Heights Celebrates Milestone

You didn't think I would let you go a whole three weeks without a blog about my favorite show now did you? Of course not. Now the reason for today's blog on In The Heights is for a very special occasion. Yesterday the show celebrated it's 1000th performance on Broadway. Pretty impressive don't you think?

Now I have been a big fan of the show since I first saw it in March 2008. Since then I have seen it several times and listen to the cast recording once or twice a week. Like I said, "I'm a fan." The show which first premiered Off-Broadway 2007 won the Tony Award for Best Musical along with Best Choreography, Orchestrations, and Best Score of the Year. Sounds like I show you want to run out and see right now doesn't it?

The current cast is headlined by "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu who exits the show on August 17. Joining the cast on August 19 is American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. By the way good seats are available for all performances. In fact if you call now we can get you tickets to see this Tony winning musical at prices that are.....wait for it.....below face value. Be advised that this "Special Offer" is only good thru September 5 and excludes Saturday evenings.
