Let's be honest. Not being able to go to the theatre sucks. Actually not being able to do a lot of the things we used to do sucks. Thankfully the last few weeks, we have been lucky enough to be able to watch dozen's of full productions and concerts from the comfort of our own couch. But what if theatre isn't your thing? What if ballet is more your cup of tea? Well have I got good news for you dance fans. From now thru May 30, the New York City Ballet, will stream some of their most celebrated performances on their
website, as well as their
Facebook page, and their
YouTube Channel. Some of the show's highlighted are a trio of George Balanchine's favorite's. Apollo, Ballo Della Regina, and Rubies From Jewels, as well as a series of educational workshops. Ballet Essentials for all ages, and Ballet Breaks, for ages three to eight. Well would you look at that? Something for everyone. Hopefully more dance companies will follow suit, and other events like these will be available to view in the near future. Stay safe everyone, and continue to look out for each other.
