I will be the first to admit that I am not the biggest Disney fan in the world. In fact excluding Aida I have never seen a Disney show on Broadway. That being said I think that Little Mermaid, The will be a big hit. I loved Sierra Boggess. In fact during "Part of Your World" I actually got goosebumps. She was that good. Now the rest of the show that is a different story. But you know what? It really doesn't matter what I or the critics think. Without Disney, young kids might never have had the chance to experience the magic that is live theatre. To see the smile on a child's face enjoying a Broadway show, that alone makes it all worth it. We go to the theatre to be entertained. To forget about our problems. To escape. The Little Mermaid does just that. Go to the show and you will see why.
