A Day In The Life Of A Ticket Broker

Let's be honest. Most people that buy tickets for a Broadway show get them thru a third party. Because most people don't live in New York City that is the best way to go.Sure they could wait until they get here and try their luck at the box office but by doing that they are taking the risk of not getting tickets to see the show at all. Why let that happen? The thing is you don't have too.

Now working at Applause all these years I am probably a little biased when it comes to our company. I'm sure if you were to ask employees of any other ticket company they would say the same. They would be crazy not too. All I can tell you is that when you call us you are not only getting a live person on the phone but you are getting people who care.

Anybody can make a sale. The reason you are calling is to buy tickets after all. The thing is we are not here just to make a sale. If that was the case then we might as well just do all of our business thru the computer and send you an e-mail confirmation when we are done. No humans. No customer service. That's no way to do business as far as I'm concerned.

I know that if I was going to spend my hard-earned money than I would want the assurance that when I give my credit card I am getting my money's worth and from a company that cares about me. Not just the almighty dollar.
