I can't tell you how many phone calls and Boldchats I have received about this show over the last few weeks. Finally I can tell people when it is finally going to start. Not only that but where it is going to be playing. Seminar, a new play by Theresa Rebek starring Tony nominated actor Alan Rickman, will begin previews at the John Golden Theatre on October 27, 2011. Opening night is scheduled for November 20. Now as much as I am sure the play is going to be very good based on Ms. Rebek's recent work we all know the main reason people are going to see the show is to see Alan Rickman. No offense to the playwright who is very, very talented. The truth is without a name these days most new plays are not produced.
