Has it really been almost ten years since Mamma Mia first opened on the Great White Way? The show which recently celebrated it's 4000th performance on Broadway remains one of Broadway's most popular shows with no end in sight. Now those of you who read my blogs know that I have never seen the show. It's just not my thing. Yes I know it's the most popular show in the world and has grossed billions of dollars since it first premiered in London in April 1999. Now that doesn't mean that you won't love it. A show doesn't run that long for nothing. Since it opened it has played in over fifteen different countries worldwide amd even spawned a hit film starring Meryl Streep. Who knew she could sing? The truth is Mamma Mia is here to stay my friends. No matter what I think of it. By the way for those of you ABBA fans out there that want to see that show then I have some news that will put a smile on your face. From now thru August 27, 2011 we can get you tickets to see the show at prices that can’t be beat. Get your tickets to see Mamma Mia on Broadway. Millions of ABBA fans can’t be wrong.Until next time theatre fans.
