Tickets To The Testament of Mary On Broadway

A religious play on Broadway? Isn't The Book of Mormon enough? Just kidding. The Testament of Mary, starring award winning actress Fiona Shaw is set to begin previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre on March 26 with opening night scheduled for April 22. As of now the show is only selling thru June 16, 2013. However if reviews are good I would not be surprised if it extends. Now for those of you who would like more information about The Testament of Mary here is a brief description about the play from the shows official website. Enjoy!

The Testament of Mary takes place after the Crucifixion. Mary, the mother of Jesus, is in the city of Ephesus where she is both guarded and protected. As two of her son's followers set about giving shape to Jesus' story, Mary tells her own story - the one which has not been heard." Well I'm sold. The show which is being produced by Tony winning producer Scott Rudin (The Book of Mormon, The Social Network) is being directed by Deborah Warner.

Oh by the way just in case you were wondering The Testament of Mary is a one-woman show. And here I thought that we were going to see Jesus on Broadway again this year. I guess we will just have to wait for Jesus Christ Superstar or Godspell to come back in thirty years. Now for those of you looking for tickets to see The Testament of Mary you are in luck my friends.

Not only do we offer tickets to this show but every show and event in New York City as well as London and all across the nation.  How many other companies do you know that offer service like that? Get your tickets to see The Testament of Mary on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Expect this show to be a big contender at this year's Tony Awards. Until next time theatre fans.
