Last night Broadway's longest running musical,
The Phantom of the Opera, celebrated it's 9000 performance.Who would of thought that when this show was first launched over 22 years ago it would still be running not only on the Great White Way but in the
West End as well. It was also announced that Love Never Dies, the eagerly awaited sequel to Phantom will premier in London in the Spring of 2010. A planned Broadway production is set to open in November of the same year. Will lighting strike twice or is one musical about a mask wearing obsessed musician enough for audiences? We will soon find out. Until next time theatre fans.
