That's right theatre fans. One of the theatre's most well known plays of all time is returning to the New York stage this March. However unlike it's previous revivals this one will instead be presented Off-Broadway. The Glass Menagerie,written by Tennessee Williams comes to New York following it's critically acclaimed run at the Long Wharf Theatre, It stars two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey as Amanda Wingfield.Rounding out the cast are Patch Darragh,Keira Keeley,and Michael Mosley all of whom appeared in the Long Wharf production. Gordon Edelstein directs. Previews are set to begin at the Laura Pels Theatre on March 5. As of now the show is scheduled to run thru May 30 but if reviews are good expect the show to be extended. Get your tickets to see The Glass Menagerie. It is a classic.
