Still haven't seen Chicago The Musical yet? Well it's only been playing on Broadway for over thirteen years people? Not only is it still one of Broadway's most popular shows but it since it opened in 1996 it has played in over twenty-eight different countries and turned into an Oscar winning picture in 2002. Not bad for a show that was a modest success in the 1970's and was largely overshadowed by A Chorus Line which opened around the same time. The show recently became the sixth longest running show in Broadway history with no end in sight.Look I know Chicago may not have big splashy sets or costumes like other big budget musicals. In fact it doesn't have a set at all. What it does have is a lot of heart and a story that entertains and thrills audiences around the world. I first saw the show about a year into it's run and enjoyed it's simplicity and the fact that while it may not be a big show it can be just as exciting as any other. Get your tickets to see Chicago The Musical on Broadway. It is Broadway at it's finest.
