One of this season's most highly anticipated shows is The Addams Family. This new musical which is based on the comic strip created by Charles Addams features music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, who wrote the book for Jersey Boys. Previews are set to begin at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on March 8 with an official opening set for April 8. Reviews for the show were mixed in Chicago prompting the producers to bring in four-time Tony Winner Jerry Zaks as "Creative Consultant". Leading the cast as Gomez and Mortica are Tony winners Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth who good or bad are a major reason the show is selling so well. Will the new changes make the show a hit that everyone is hoping it will be? Your guess is as good as mine. Get your tickets to see The Addams Family on Broadway. It should be quite a show.
