Final Weeks To See Shrek On Broadway

I still can't believe that a show as entertaining as Shrek is being forced to close. Now I'm not going to point fingers. There are a number of reasons why the show was not successful. The sad part is that Shrek is a really good show. Not only is it one of the few shows that the whole family can enjoy but it is by far one of the most touching and enjoyable evenings that I have spent in the theatre in a very long time.

Look not every show is going to have a long run like Phantom or The Lion King. Maybe it just wasn't marketed as well as it should have been. I mean as much as I don't like Disney on Broadway they sure know how to market a show. Even the ones that got mixed reviews they were able to keep them running a lot longer than other shows would have. I hope that Dreamworks gives it another shot in the future. They are definitely deserving of another chance. Until next time theatre fans.
