For over fifty years now Off-Broadway has given the theatre going public some of the most innovative and exciting productions to date.Being a director and producer myself I am a big supporter of the Off-Broadway scene. Not only does it seem to take more risks but it also allows you to experience new shows that you might not see anywhere else.Now don't get me wrong. I love Broadway. I wouldn't be living here or working for Applause if I didn't. It's just nice to go to the theatre and see something a little off the beaten path. Currently there are over sixty shows playing Off-Broadway. Even better Applause sells tickets to all of these shows. So what are you waiting for? Now is the best time to see an Off-Broadway show. Who knows? You might even like it.
