The Phantom Of The Opera Still Going Strong In It's Record Breaking 21st Year

Winner of 7 1988 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Broadway's longest running show is The Phantom of the Opera. The show which opened on January 26, 1988 continues to charm theatregoers eight times a week at the Majestic Theatre. Having grown up in a small farm town in Illinois I wasn't exposed to a lot of Broadway except for the shows I did in high school. I fell in love with the score and couldn't wait to see the show when I first moved to New York. At that point the show was in it's fifth year on Broadway so to be honest I expected the show to be a little tired by that point. I'm so glad that I was wrong. I loved it. Not to sound sappy but I thought it was one of the most romantic shows that I have ever seen on Broadway. Now here we are some sixteen years later and it is still one of the most beloved shows running On of Off Broadway. So whether it's your first time or your tenth now is the best time to see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Why not give us a call? You'll be glad you did.
