It was just announced today that controversial talk show host Jerry Springer will be joining the London production of Chicago this June in the role of slick lawyer Billy Flynn. Springer's six week stint in the award wining musical will begin on June 1 and continue thru July 11. Springer who was actually born in London was also the subject of his own show,Jerry Springer:The Opera,which ran in London from April 2003 to February 2005. One would think that his appearance in the long running show will be very successful. I guess we will soon find out.
