The New York Mets return home to Citi Field this week with games against world champion and arch rival Philadelphia Phillies, the Pittsburgh Pirates this weekend, and 3 games with division rival Atlanta Braves next week. The Mets continue to play inconsistent baseball, but so far on their mini road trip have taken 2 of 3 from the Phillies and Braves. Livan Hernandez pitches tonite as they finish up their road trip, and NL pitcher of the month Johan Santana will start the homestand tomorrow nite as he looks to continue his dominant start against the world champs. Santana against the Phillies at Citi Field should be a very exciting game that you don’t wanna miss.
