That's right theatre fans. One of this season's most critically acclaimed shows will soon be coming to a city near you. Memphis which opened at the Shubert Theatre last October is set to open in Memphis, Tennesses at the Orpheum Theatre in October 2011. Other dates and venues are to be announced at a later date. Memphis is a definite crowd pleaser and should do very well on the road. You can also expect a ton of Tony nominations for Memphis this May. With it and The Addams Family being the only two Broadway musicals to open this season featuring an original score you can expect a battle between those two for that coveted award.
