Now in it's second year on Broadway is South Pacific. The show which won seven 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival has been playing to packed houses at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre since March 2008. The show which first premiered on Broadway back in 1949 is set to close on August 22, 2010 after a total of 37 previews and 1000performances. Not bad for a show that opened over fifty years ago.
Now for those of you who have yet to see the show there is no better time then the present. Good seats are available for every performance. In fact because the theatre is so small there is not a bad seat in the house. 1000 seats and the largest stage on Broadway. You can't get any better than that my friends.Get your tickets to see South Pacific on Broadway. Only five months and counting theatre fans.
