That's right Broadway lovers. Last season's biggest winner Billy Elliot is now available. Not like it wasn't before but you know what I mean. The show which won ten 2009 Tony Awards including Best Musical is still packing them in eight times a week at the Imperial Theatre. In fact just last week it grossed over a million dollars at the box office.
Not surprising as it has been hitting that number pretty much since they opened in November 2008. Now while I have never seen the show there is no denying it's popularity not only in New York but in London as well. Plus Billy Elliot is about to embark on a National Tour next week at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts in Chicago. Looks like Billy Elliot is here to stay folks.
