Arthur Miller's The Crucible Nominated For 4 Tony Awards in 2016

World renowned playwright Arthur Miller has written several plays during his lifetime but without a doubt, The Crucible is one of the most intriguing plays of the 2015-2016 Broadway season.  It has been nominated for 4 Tony Awards this year.  In addition it has been nominated for 3 Drama League Awards and 3 Outer Critics Circle Awards this year.  In 1953 it won a Tony Award for Best Play.

The Crucible opened on Broadway this season on March 31, 2016.  This production has been produced by Scott Rudin.  With a cast of 18 talented Broadway actors, The Crucible aims to please every moment.

The story line of The Crucible has to do with the Salem Witch Trials during the 1690's in which the entire town was put on trial for practicing witchcraft because of the lies of a young frightened woman.  The Crucible is a much dramatized version of what took place way back then with some fiction added for effect.  The play is considered to be a classic in American literature, taught in many of our schools around the country.

The Crucible tickets are available for a limited time only playing performances now through July 17, 2016.  If you think The Crucible is a show you might want to see on Broadway, kindly consider making a call to the local Broadway ticket experts at Applause-Tickets.  We're open 24/7 to serve you.
