Exciting news theatre fans. One of the theatre's most beloved stars is returning to the West End. Michael Crawford (The Phantom of the Opera) is set to star in the new musical adaptation of The Go-Between. Based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by L.P. Harley, The Go-Between is scheduled to open on May 27 at the Apollo Theatre. Set in Norfolk during the Summer of 1900, The Go-Between tells the story of Leo Colston, a thirteen year old boy from the wrong side of the tracks, who spends the holidays with his wealthy schoolmate and his family. Before he knows it he becomes the go-between for wealthy socialite and Marin and Ted her poor farmer boyfriend. Soon Leo finds himself caught up in a web of fraud and manipulation that changes the course of his life forever.
