Sean Hayes Plays God- An Act of God Returns To Broadway on May 28, 2016

I am looking forward to seeing An Act of God on Broadway again when it returns for a second time to the Booth Theatre in New York City.  I originally saw a performance of An Act of God starring Emmy Award winner of Big Bang Theory- Jim Parsons.  He's one funny actor.  The show played a limited engagement in 2015 at the Studio 54 Theatre.

An Act of God will play a limited engagement and run through September 4, 2016.  This time around we'll get to see Sean Hayes, a co-star of televisions Will and Grace and Promises Promises on Broadway, for which he was nominated for a 2010 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.

The story line of An Act of God has Mr. Hayes playing the role of God as he basically performs mostly a monologue of a new version of the Ten Commandments but updated for the times we're living in now.  This comedy has been revised for Mr. Hayes as he spends about 90 minutes talking about the Bible and answering questions that have always perplexed mankind.

This brilliant piece of theatre has been written by David Javerbaum (The Daily Show) and is capably directed by Joe Mantello.  Sean Hayes has recently done the show in San Francisco and Los Angeles and it was so successful in those cities that the producer decided to bring it back to Broadway once again.
